Hey,
My brother's building a new comp, which currently stands at something around an E8400 (would get the X3110...but can't find it here), 4850 HD (should we go for Sapphire's heatsink or go with a reference build?) http://www.digitec.ch/ProdukteDetailsDruck1.aspx?Artikel=151578), 4GBs of DDR2 800.
Now I need a motherboard recommendations...I was thinking a P45? Anyway- it needs to be a somewhat popular motherboard or else I won't be able to get it here (Switzerland is pretty lean on the comp market). Anything DFI, MSI, Asus, Gigabyte, or Foxconn is ok....but other obscure brands aren't...as they simply aren't sold here. A newegg link is fine...I'll just search for it on the swiss site I'm usin.
Also, I'd like something with an FSB wall of 400 or greater....looking for about a 3.6-3.8 clock on that E8400....will the AC Freezer 7 Pro be an ok heatsink for this?
One more thing, I'm looking at getting this PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139002 Can anyone comment on if it's a wise choice...because it is very expensive. I know that getting a good quality PSU is vital...but is this...overkill?
Thanks for the tips
