What is Fox Fire?!?!

How many of you call Firefox (http://www.getfirefox.com) Foxfire?

Also, if you call Firefox, Foxfire, why? What is wrong with you? Do you call CBS or ABC, CBA and SBC? No one ever calls Internet Explorer, Explorer Internet.

That's what I don't get. Foxfire is an attack commonly found in the anime titled Inuyasha. Everytime someone calls Firefox, Foxfire, I'm reminded of Shippo (character in Inuyasha).

It's not that they mocked the name. They unintensionally called it Foxfire because they didn't know the proper name for it. I hear so many people call it that, that it drives me insane!

everybody raves about firefox, I honestly prefer IE.

Everyone says it loads pages faster, not in my case (I have 2meg broadband).

It loads the pages differently, but not faster.

u have to adjust the settings in firefox to make it faster than IE, i think firefox 1.5 has most of the settings preset so u dont have to change them, u should give it another try since the better security alone makes it a far better browser
