I was looking at this and it just doesn't look right. Something is missing or something, I am posting it here to find out what, and if i can save some more dollars and get some more speed.

And the HD 5770 has been Rma'd and is on its way back.

Looking for a XP Pro 64 disk on Ebay.

Whats wrong here?

WHy the Constellation drive? A regular 2TB drive from Seagate or WD would be more than adequate. Also, lose the XP-64bit. Driver and program support for that was horrible at best and never got any better.

I'd say the computer sounds great but why use XP on something like that? I'd definitely go for window 7. Also 4gb is probably enough but if you really want to go all out you could put some more ram in there.

Wow, ok, the barracuda drive is $100 less, definatly going with that. Using Xp because its awesome and I really dont like the style and dont use many of the features of 7 and all the stuff in it just noms away at your ram, have an idle of 860mb on my laptop, + some of my games that are really fun (system shock 2, and Far Cry) dont run on it.

Somthings still not right. Missing a key component somewhere...

Somehow everything checks out.

If you are going back to XP for compatibility, x64 is not the way to go. I can almost guarantee you'll be disappointed with it.

Ok, I do remember Vista x64 was faster than a waxed bobsled, but installing anything was a pain in the ***. I may not be going with this yet, my Dell has killed itself *again* its not even funny anymore, im buying a foxxcon board and using this E7500 I found lying around.

The money I get from it(whats left of it, or what it is, depending on how you see it) will go directly twards the build, which, seeing the same model on ebay, will get about half my build out of the way with $350.
