Weird dirt looking spots on monitor.

I took several screens but it doesent show up in the screens, theres spots on the top of my monitor that look like dirt but its not, it also seems like there more noticable the longer my monitors on. Im clueless as to what it is.

My monitors a 22 inch dell
about 3 years old if that matters.

I would suggest it is the cord. if you can replace it you should. However, most monitors you cannot. Also, check the pins on the cord maybe its a slight bent be gentle if you try to fix it, you could break the pin.
