basically i have reformated my harddrive and reinstalled vista as it had gotten really slow. Now when it tries to boot up i get a BSOD with the following message
stop C0000218 registry file failure
registry cannot load the hive (file):
\systemroot\system32\config\components
or its log or alternate
it is corrupt,absent,or not writable.
does anybody have any idea how to mend this??
