Vista on my laptop

I made a thread a few days ago asking whether vista would run on my laptop. I upgraded the RAM to 1GB today, installed vista ultimate and it worked! It also seems to run quite smoothly. Thanks everyone for the help.

Here are the spec again if anybody was wondering:

Compaq Presario 1500
1024MB RAM
30GB HDD
64MB ATI Mobility Radeon IGP 340M
Intel Pentium 4 2.4ghz
Windows Vista Ultimate

You're processor is ok, but I would watch the ram. It's not going to run "smoothly" for as long as XP was. On 1gb of ram, Vista is like wearing a cloth shirt and XP to leather
