Video problem????

after taking it apart and checking everything. I tried to turn it on and it wont turn on now. Ive been at it for about 2 hours. Any help is greatly appreciated

if the board you are using has integrated graphics try connecting the video cable to that as it could have become re enabled , then go into bios and turn it off

i have a bigger problem the computer wont turn on

i would take the mobo out of the case and try it on a work surface to eliminate the possibility of any shorts with the case

ok its out. my power suppy seems to be working. When i plug it in the light from the sound card comes on...but when i go to push the on button nothing happens

ok , well are you sure you are connecting the power on pins in the right combination

also just because the power supply seems to be working dosent mean it is ,

another thing are all the power supply cables connected the the mobo properly , there should be a 24pin one and a 4 pin connector

yes im sure i am connecting right i just checked again.
My mobo has a 24pin and a 8 pin. This is my system

ok well just attach the fundamentals , cpu ram and vid and then try it
