Video Card on new desktop PC - Dual Monitor Problem

I have just had a new pc built for me and my graphics card has 3 outputs on the back.

HDMI, VGA, and DVI however when I plug in 2 x monitors they're both showing the same part of my desktop so are not acting as dual monitors.

It's not showing 2 monitors in my display settings either

Does this mean my Video card is not compatible with dual monitors?

You have to go into the graphics card driver software and set up the multi-monitor configuration. There you'll find the various screen settings that are possible.
