I'm looking to buy a new laptop with a 256 MB nvidia geforce go 7600 video card in it. And I was wondering if that was a good card or an average card for gaming purposes.

That would be an average performing card for a laptop. It can play some games well, but will choke on most of the newest high powered games.

If you are serious about playing games on a laptop, look for something with a GeForce 8000 series video card.

I am not really a gamer, but I do play some games on my laptop. I have this exact same video card in my HP laptop, and it works well, both for games and basic general usage. I would recommend it.

Yea it is pretty good if you dont use a lot of games. If you play a lot of games update it or update to a pc.

how much do u want to spend
dont go buy the hardware go by how much money then look for the best possible hardware u can get
