So my PC is suffering from high DPC latency causing moderate to high cracking sounds while playing audio and mild cracking sounds while on skype calls.
I ran LatencyMon and I "think" the network adapter is causing the issue. I searched for an upgrade of the network adapter but it says that I am using the current version. I saw this driver file ndis.sys topping the Total Execution list several times. I have even disabled all power management options for my network adapter
I am using a desktop and is connected to the internet using an Ethernet cable.
My LatencyMon report is attached to this post. Kindly advise on how to get rid of this issue. This cracking sounds started happening about 1-2 yrs back but occurred rarely. But now it happens everytime I play an audio file or watch videos on YouTube
