Use TV Capture Card As Webcam

I Have a handycam incompatible with connecting to computer so i purchased a TV Capture card . and using the TV out of the handycam and connecting it to the TV in of the capture card, i am able to capture live images off the handycam. Problem is ,
can anyone tell me how to use the handycam as a webcam in any software such as yahoo messenger ???

I don't know about Yahoo - but on MSN it thinks of the TV Card as a Webcam! Could you not just try and switch the TV Card on Yahoo to be the Webcam? Is it a USB TV Card?
