USB power surge

I accidently plugged a 110v printer into a 220v power supply yesterday. Of course, the printer burnt out. The printer can be easily replaced, but what I'm worried about is my computer. The printer was connected to it via a hub at the time. Could the surge affect the computer as well?

Everything seems to be running perfectly, and the hub's USB port is also running perfectly.

Looks like the printer absorbed most of the damage. The surge probably just blew out the transformer and power supply of the printer shorting it out competely before a path was ever created going to your PC. If everything is working fine, they you got lucky.

If the surge did manage to reach the computer before the path was interrupted, the hub's USB port wouldn't be working right now, would it?
