Urgent, buying a new laptop

I am looking to buy a new laptop and i wanted to order it online(i was told it was cheaper and better than buying one at bestbuy). I am interested in..

-What company is trusted and has a good warranty?(extremely important)
-What laptop is best for my price range($1000-1100)?
-Battery life(not extremely important since i can always buy a new battery)
-Overheating issues
-I would like to play many games on it along with schoolwork
-Monitor 15' and under preferably( will be transporting it to school a lot)
- Fast processor and ram

I would appreciate any suggestions, i will be purchasing it in the next few days.

i recommend if you want a mad good laptop that will run fast and last you for a whole you raise your budget 200 bucks highs

get the combo with the extra 1g if ram
extreamly easy to install just take off a little cover on the bodom and snap it into place

this laptops got the latest core 2 duo cpu
its got 2g of ram(if you buy the combo highly recommended you do
its has a nvidia 8600 that will play any game on the market and any game coming out next year
plus webcam mic highdeff screen 160g hard drive
