Upgrading laptop

Hello.

I have an MSI WT60 laptop that I bought in Dec 2014. It came with Win7 as the OS. Last year, I upgraded it to Win10 since it was clear MS was gradually removing supported functions for Win7 as time went on.

Unfortunately, I lost some hardware support after doing this. For one, none of the video ports will support external monitors now. Otherwise, the laptop is still a screaming workhorse; I'm just restricted to its monitor.

I contacted MSI and asked if they could supply Win10 drivers for the hardware; I would be happy to pay for it. Their response: "Sorry, that hardware is too old."

So, my question is: Before I start to dismantle the laptop, does anyone know if it would be reasonably likely that I would be able to find hardware replacements that would fit precisely into the laptop body? At this point I don't know if I would need a new MB or video card.

Thanks for any advice or suggestions!

Thanks! That works for me! And, I was already suspecting that finding compatible hardware would be next to impossible.
