unstable

i installed my new sata hard drive, and now when i run two at the same time, sometimes the computer will boot, and sometimes it wont... and its just unstable... is there something im not doing? i always had this question... when setting up the raid utility... it gives me two choices... one is something controller, and the other is storage controller... if i want my OS on the 10k western digital, and the maxtor 7200 as storage, should i select storage controller for the maxtor? coz i the top choice for both of them... maybe they shouldnt be the same?

I dunno, but can I make a suggestion..

Use the 7200 hd for OS.

And the 10k for progs and games, because things will much load faster. IMO tho..

ahh.. i was hoping the 10k for the os would be faster .. why would the 7200 be faster? just because its a bigger drive?
