Unexplainable Freezes...

Help!!


This happend...mmm....yesterday.

I just finished downloading the Opera Browser. It worked perfectly. Until i shut off and came back 20 mins later. When windows loaded, i went to start>opera. I waited...as i normally would (my computer sorta.....sucks )...but after about 1 min of just sitting there waiting for something to happen i knew something was wrong. My computer just froze!! So then i rebooted my PC and still! after i click the start button and cick something it freezes...anything i click for that matter....


So....whats wrong? As i said in my strange intro. im not too computer shabby...so any help woud be appreciated

Perhaps your harddrive connection is loose?

Open it up, and jiggle it abit, and to all cables.

...ooohhh....yeah....one thing though....that i probably forgot to mention Lol...i have a portable..=D


and ALSO its standing up on my table so it couldnt be the heat...

Well...it seems to me that i downloaded a SAFE browser...*whew* but what should i try? I already got a Antivirus thing and a SpyWare scanner..maybe HijackThis???
