Default Thinking of new mouse, anyone have a MX518 or OCZ?

OK so I want a new mouse. I like the looks of the MX518 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16826104178 but my friend said he tried it at Best Buy and he didn't like it. The mouse didn't click when you click one of the buttons, but more of smushes in like on a remote for your TV, he said there was no feedback. Anyone can confirm or deny this? Also I was thinking about this OCZ, very cheap and looks quite decent.

The MX518 isn't like that at all. The model he saw was probably just worn out. I have the G5 and it's a fantastic mouse. Go for the G5 if you can, or the MX518 will still do you well. Go out and try the different mouse's. You can't really rely on one person's opinion. You need to give each one a test drive.

A lot of people swear by the MX518 or the Razer Deathadder. I personally use a Steelseries Ikari.

I love my logitech g3. I don't like having a huge mouse in my hand, and this one was a freebie.

I don't know about spending 40 bucks on a mouse for WoW and Age of Empires II

For World of Warcraft? You don't really need a gaming mouse for that. You might as well get one of those gaming pads. Gaming mice are most utilized by first person shooters.

This would do you well for World of Warcraft and it doesn't break the bank.

Id rather go with the Razer Deathadder. I have the Razer Lachesis mouse and if your looking to spend around $80 on a mouse, id get the Lachesis but for the price id pick the Razer Deathadder

I know that I don't need a great mouse for gaming on WoW or Age, but I don't like my mouse right now, so I'm just saying I need a mouse for everyday use, WoW, and Age. And that Steelseries WoW keyboard looks like a piece, no offense.

I know people who have it and they love it. It's a personal opinion. Pick up that OCZ. For what you need it for, it will do the job.

Right, but which one is more comfortable?

No one on these forums can tell you that. It's just a personal preference. I like the G5 because I have somewhat large hands and the material used to make the mouse. Makes it easier to hold. Go out to Best Buy and try some mice out and then go on the internet and find the cheapest deal.

I have the MX-518 and I'm an avid gamer and I find that it's great. Like it more than the razer mice as the MX-518 fits my hand better. And it does create an audible click as well.

The Logitech looks more like a palm mouse, like you put your whole hand on the mouse and move it around with like your arm. It looks like the mouse contours to more of your whole hand at once rather than just your fingertips which is kind of like how I like to hold and manuever my mouse. The OCZ looks nicer for like "finger mousing" instead of "palm mousing"

I went with the OCZ earlier today. Logitech jacked the free shipping otherwise I might have been persuaded otherwise...
