I'm trying to build my first computer but I'm not sure what is compatible with what but here is the list of things I was planning on buying.

Motherboard: GIGABYTE AM3/AM2+/AM2 AMD 785G HDMI Micro ATX motherboard (Model: GA-MA785GM-US2H)

PSU: Rosewill 600W ATX12V v2.2 / EPS12V SLI Ready Power Supply (Model: RV2-600)

Case: Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

DVD Drives: LITE-ON Black 24X DVD+/-R 2MB Cache SATA DVD Writer w/ LightScribe Support (Model: iHAS424-98) - total of two units

Graphics Card: EVGA 01G-P3-N945-LR GeForce 9400 GT 1GB DDR2 PCI-E 2.0 Graphics Card

CPU: AMD Athlon II X2 255 3.1GHz

RAM: Crucial 2GB Set(2x1GB) 200-Pin PC2 5300 667Mhz SODIMM DDR2 RAM

HDD: Western Digital 320 GB Scorpio Black SATA 7200 RPM 16 MB Cache Bulk/OEM Notebook Hard Drive WD3200BEKT

Are any of these incompatible?

Besides normal usage I do some light gaming but nothing too graphic intensive but I do watch a lot of movies and videos so is there another graphics card that would be better?

Blech. Don't buy a DX10 card, especially at that price.

I suggest a HD 5750, or better yet a GTS 450. Shop around and look for a sale and you should be able to get either for about $100. If you really don't want to go $10 over budget, get the 9800 gt, but either card I listed will outperform it, use less power and has DX 11.
