Temps

Just got alarmed by my temps. Mainyl GPU its running at 49c.

nothing too alarming. GPU:s can take a lot of heat. (my GPU starts to slow down when the core temp is 120 C) but 49 is quite high. My geforce FX5700 is idle at 38 C.

I got the geforce fx5700 too and it's about 35-40 C while idling.

Yes. idle. So GPU temps are high. Ok thats cool. CPU temps are in check.

GPUs can handle much higher temp as compared to regular CPU which cannot. I actually called MSI and they told me that the 6600GT or any of their line of GPUs can stand temps of up to 127 degrees celsius. But don't sill don't try to push it that high.

ya thats the safty level of my MSI 6600gt is too. it's amazing it could handle that much heat.
