Hi, i thought someone could help here. Ive installed the realtek High definition audio driver thing and now the speaker symbol has not got a cross but the green soundwaves and ive looked in playback options and the drivers working fine. Only problem is the computer isnt detecting my headphones or speakers, and im placing them in the same jack socket that i used to before upgrading to Windows Vista Ultimate. My speakers are on and turned on full volume and the blue LED is on, but when i go in playback devices it says Speakers are not connected. The Drivers running fine but without headphone detection or speakers i cant listen or hear any sound.
