Sound card not being recognized by windows.

Ok we have Mandrake linux on our computer we just installed windows xp home edition on our computer today and for some reason we cant listen to sound. so i looked a little into it and found out it is saying we have no sound card. But my sound works perfectly on linux... do i have to install it or something and if so can you like give me step by step instructions? im a bit of a noob so thanks in advance
 
hey thanks man sorry the reason i didnt write back immediately was i have been pretty busy the last couple of days. im gonna go download that thing now.
 
ok i downloaded it and everything and i just ran a reporn on my computer and here is the only thing i found concerning sound...
