Solid Deal (I think)

They're just clearing out inventory...AM2+/DDR2 is on its way out.

That is pretty good though, for an older system. All of the components are good quality.

i wouldnt be ready to say that its on its way out.

me neither, especially DDR2, my guess is that ~80% of functioning systems out there still use DDR2, hell, I have the choice of DDR2 or DDR3 on my board and still haven't upgraded yet and won't until prices drop...

I still have DDR2. Plays the games well. Not as well as a DDR3 1600 with triple channel, but for a budget build it's not bad at all. I'd go for it.

It's still in use, yes, but DDR2 is no longer put into new systems unless it's old stock. DDR3 is the current standard for desktops.

It's pretty mismatched too. Who is gonna put that giant cooler on an athlon II and not have a video card? It's like newegg threw a bunch of random stuff together and called it a combo.
