So i just upgraded to 20.0

I just upgraded my service with insight from 10.0 to 20.0. I went to speedtest.net to check my speed and this is what I got....



Is this right, or should I be getting a higher speed?

This is what insight says about it...Insight Broadband 20.0


(Requires Insight Broadband 10.0 service)

* Speeds up to 20 Megs per second
* Up to 12X faster than 1.5 DSL and 340X faster than Dial-up

Your getting less than even 10Mb at the moment.

Upgrading your connection is almost never immediate unless the company is a diamond in the rough. If you JUST upgraded, give it a few minutes/hours and it should work.

Also, if you haven't already done so, reset your cable modem and your router (if you have one). Just pull out the power cord and waiting a few seconds, then plug it back in. Without doing this, you'll still be running at 10mbps.

You might also need a new cable modem, call the company and tell them which cable modem you have and ask them if you need to upgrade. I found this out when I switched/upgraded my dsl connection. It wasn't working properly and all I needed was a new modem and I got the higher speed.

This is if it doesn't work within a day or two.

Wow, I've never seen upload speeds like that before so close to the download speeds. You usually have to pay for like a 15mbps or more connection to get those kinds of upload speeds.
