Is a high dBA on a fan quieter than a lower dBA or is a low dBA quieter than a high dBA?

What is quieter a fan that has 8 dba or a fan that has 17 dba?

8 dBA is quieter, but to be honest, they're both quiet. What 2 fans are you considering?

What fan is better? Also, i posted becuase I just wanted to know if the lower the dba the quieter the fan. They are both Maximum Enermax 120MM

or

so the second one because I can control it and it will be quieter right?

Get either a case where it has a manual fan controller where you can slide a thing to increase speed or decrease, so if idle, let it be less then when you like go bf3 or something, or get an intelligent fan system like fan xpert or fan xpert 2 to control your fan so if your CPU temp is N, then the fan rpm is X.

the T.B one is 3 pin and the other I do not know. What does 3pin and molex mean?
