Share Connection

I have 2 pcs linked by a crossover cable but i cant seem to share my broadband connection every time i go into the wireless connection and tick the share this connection i get a message saying it is not possiblr as the automatic ip address is already being used.is there a way i can share this connection

I think ya need a router to do this, could be wrong tho

Also just noticed ya going into a wireless connection, just wonderin why when they are wired connections?

my main pc is wireless and the other pc is just connested to the main pc.

i think i may need to connect my second pc to my wireless router with a ethernet cable and see if i can network it and share the internet connection.

Yeah that would make sense, should be more stable that way, that will work as ive got my pcs set the same way (2 wired to router, and laptop on wireless)
