screen all messed up

When i turn my comp on for the first time of the day 9/10 times it will start up withed a messed up screen (all lines down it) making it imposible to use and the lines change as you do stuff.

i have recently purchased a samsung sync master 930bf TFT and i am now sing the DIV port on the g.card, however the same problem still occurs.


to stop it i have to restart the machine then usually 9/10times it then is fine.
anyone got any ideas!!!

by the way i have reformatted my machine many times and consequently had different drivers of my g card.

bent pins maybe creating a bad signal sometimes

What graphics card do you have? Is it overclocked? It definitely shouldn't be doing that just while starting up if it is overclocked anyway, but that sounds like a graphics card problem. Do you have another one that you can test the computer with?

yeh, i'll take it to my dads work shop, its a radeon 9600pro at the moment so i suspose i need a new one anyway, thanks

Well, if you game a lot then you'll want a new card, but that one is fine if you don't game too much.
