Runs like crap!!

Just got my new system together a few days ago and its kind of a turd! I think its due to the 512 Ram, I will have a total of 2gb by wed. ASUS mobo, 3700+, 6600GT, SATA HD.... thought it should be faster than what it really is. I am also getting this wierd thing when I play games my screen almost looks like a tv with poor reception, almost like static and such popping up... anyone have any ideas?? THANKS!!!!!

It could be the refresh rate of the monitor. Check the refresh rate on your monitor, and try tweeking it in the control panel. If not, sounds like something in the settings.

MY refresh rate is 85hz.

Sounds to me like artifacts, snow type graphical anomalies. Could you post a screen shot of the problem please. What driver are you running your 6600GT on? any overclocking? Are all your m/board drivers updated?

Thats what it is!! All of my drivers are up to date and no verclocking of any sort.
