roxio easy creator 9

i am looking for burning software that will allow me to author dvds since i only have a basic version of nero that came with my dvd drive. ive looked into nero and have read many bad reviews about the newest nero 7 ultimate version enhanced, and how it contains a lot of software that can just bloat up your system. i was wondering if anyone here uses roxio easy creator 9 and if it is worth getting.
