router question

Do you happen to know what speed your connection is? Because that's a 108MBPS router, you don't really need 108MBPS unless you have a 1080kbps or more internet connection.

Theres some routers for £5 that break right away... I paid $50 for mine (~£25) for my belkin router and it still works fine.

I thought that all routers would work for ADSL and Cable....

No I think it's like cable routers work with cable and DSL but ADSL only works for DSL connections. Can't really remember. But I bought a belkin ADSL router, and I gave my old one to my friend (also ADSL) and it didn't work for him (He runs Time Warner Cable)
