im nearly in tears here ...
as most of you no i love my music, i keep it all on my hdd, creative zen touch and cds so i dont lose it

today i borowed a cd of one of my mates i put it in and wmp started to play it then i went to rip.... all was going fine till i hat start rip then i go the error

Windows Media Player cannot rip tracks from the CD correctly because the CD drive settings in Device Manager do not match the CD drive settings in the Player.

i hit more information and i got this
C00D0FB0: Audio CDs will not rip correctly
Settings for the CD drive conflict. The setting for the CD drive in Windows Media Player is set to analog copying (ripping). The setting for the CD drive in Device Manager is set to digital CD audio. To use analog copying, both settings must be set to use analog or no audio is copied.

To change the CD drive setting to analog in Device Manager
Open Device Manager, right-click the CD drive, and then click Properties.
Click the Properties tab.
Clear the Enable digital CD audio for the CD-ROM device check box.

so i did what it says then when i click rip it rips but when i try to play the riped copie(s) i hear nuffin

please help me im drepressed now
