This is insane.
I cant run any applications because everytime i do, they freeze.
Obviously my first thought was the cpu temp, so i downloaded motherboard monitor to check it.
Then i noticed my cpu temp is 109c
Is that even possible?

If you tell us what cpu it is it would help a lot :) but no 109C is not possible, thermal protection throttling would kick in before then, unless it is disabled somehow.
Questions: Have you altered any hardware recently?
Have you checked for dust build up in your case, specifically the cpu heatsink and fan?
Have you reseated the cpu heatsink?

What are your system specs? Try more programs for monitoring temperatures, such as PC Alert 4 , or Speed Fan

I really doubt your system is at 109C.. when I first got my computer running (check sig) mother board monitor read 260C.. which is funny considering the cpu would probably fry at around 75. Speed fan read an accurate temperature (28C)

109C??????? thats like 200F!! get out, there must be something wrong, or turn that thing off before you start a fire
