Ram Issue

hello. i got a desktop that ii like to modify just abit for lanning.

Its a P4 1.8ghz, 256ram, Ati 9550 256mb overcloocked.

First i just thinking of buying new ram be4 anything. but im not sure if it will support the recent modern DDR ram. my question is will it support the new ddr ram or not? thank u

no, i'm afraid your board does not support DDR memory. your motherboard is designed for RAMBUS. Rambus has a different interface (electronically) to the motherboard itself than DDR. Even if you tried to stick a DDR chip in, you'd find it will not fit as the notch configuration is different.
