Turn the stick around, if you see the little notch on the ram, and on the place to put it on the mb, you can see they should line up.

make sure you have it in, in the correct fassion. you can tell by the notch in the stick. and hope you didnt fry your ram

No, its just a matter of you not putting it in right. Did you accidently put it on a carpet or anything? All you do is push it in and the clips will click in , is that how you did it?

He said it wont clip in right, so im geussing that means that the notches are not lining up.

if you did manage to get it in backwards, you may want to check and make sure you didnt break anything in the process

Make sure that the two notches are lined up on the motherboard and on the memory, take out the clip on the top, and then put a little pressure on the memory, it has to like snap in, and can sometimes be a bit tough, make sure you ground yourself so you dont fry nothin, and once it snaps in, Then put the clips on.

EDIT: the problem sounds like one end of the stick just isnt in the slot enough, just go ahead and put alittle pressure on the side that wont go in and it should pop in, even if the clip wont go on, your MB should still read the mem.
