Alright, my sister wanted me to get her some more memory for her wedding present, I looked and her old memory is PC2700. So I got her some Kingstone 256MB PC2700 ram. Now I've upgraded my computer's memory, and my friends. This time after I put it in and repluged everything back up it started up, said memory was upgraded, press F1 to continue or press F2 to go into BIOS or something. So I just pressed F1 and it started up but then I guess just froze or was just taking a very long time to get going so I tuned it off manuly and took out the ram... so when I reinstall it do I have to press F2 and do whatever it needs to do there?

Oh and I read somewhere that if you used two sticks they would have to be the same... so I couldn't put in the 128MB to get 384MB?

I have been adding memory since 1990,the answer is NO,why did you even consider it ? Please forget you have a bios till you understand things better.
