how do I use LAME library. because I have audacity and I cant export my music to mp3 because it keeps tell me that I need LAME library to open it. I already downloaded LAME library but everytime I try to open it it keeps telling me that I have to open it with somethig. So how do I open it. Thanks

you have to go into the preferences and set the path to where you putt the lame.dll file (i think thats what its called). if you do that your set, sorry I can't be more exact, I haven't reinstalled it on this computer yet and my other computer is at work at the moment.
Download the lame file from http://www-users.york.ac.uk/~raa110/audacity/lame.html any mirrior will work.
then save Lame_enc.dll somewhere on your computer, remember where it is,
then when you export as MP3 just locate where lame_enc.dll is and you should be set.

They're gonna ask for a file location, just look up the lame file and that should be all. You double posted the thread btw.

* In the bottom of the window there is a section tabled 'MP3 Export Setup'.
* Click on the link tabled 'Find Library'
* This will ask you if you want to locate the lame encoder. Click 'yes'.
* In the dialogue box, go to the folder where you put the lame-enc.dll file earlier, and select it.
* Click OK.
