Question about DVD/CD drive.

I have a question regarding my DVD/CD drive. Im burning a linux ISO onto a disk. I went to Office Depo and picked up some CD's Because I was all out. Unfortunitely I grabed the wrong thing and I picked up a DVD+R. I only relised this when I got home. Now Im not sure if it will still work. I have 2 computers one has a Samsung CDRW/DVD SM-348B and the other has a Philips CDRW/DVD CDD5263 DVD drive. Will I be able to burn the Linux .ISO and still have it work?

No, because you wont be able to burn it onto the dvd, since you dont have a dvd burner, well atleast from what you wrote, it doesnt seem as if the computers have one..

No, it looks like they are just DVD-ROM drives, you won't be able to burn the dvd's. Return them and buy some cd-r's
