I'm just wondering something. My parent has her own seperate windows XP account and it just happened to get some type of virus, bug, worm, w/e. It deleted everything off the computer. Everything is off the start menu, documents, and uninstalled everything. How could I be at fault when I have my own seperate windows XP account(works fine when I logon) and everything is running operational? My parent obviously did something wrong, but just wanted your guys input.

Well obviously it's not your fault because viruses aren't always user-sensitive. That stinks though; good luck to her fixing everything up though... Its a pain to have to get everything back

If you aren't sure if everything's gone, you might wanna run Knoppix and check in some of her folders to see if some stuff can be salvaged
