Hey, I have an integrated graphics card, if i get a pci express gfx card, can i turn off my onboard one so it doesnt consume RAM? If so, how do i do that?

Also, is this a good card?? (i have a low budget, if anyone can get one better between 1-200 would be very appreciated!)

Hello...I dont think it would use RAM but i dont know for sure...but yah it can easily be disabled. All you'd have to do is right click on My Computer,go to properties, go to Hardware and go to device manager. Then, right click on the onboard graphics card and go to disable. Done!

Also, thats not a pci express card..its an AGP card. You might wanna make sure your computer has AGP. But besides that its a pretty good card.

That's one way to disable onboard video. You can also disable it in the BIOS. Just select Disable under the Integrated Video Controller and reboot.

As far as video card suggestion goes, this is a very nice card. It's just under $200 with the rebate:
