putting togethor my first build

Hi,
I have a couple questions,

1. I am putting in my mobo and I have the entire thing screwed in and all all the cords connected except the front panel speaker out and Mic in. The case has these for labels on there parts:
Mic in
Mic BIAS
SPK OUT L
SPK OUT R
Return L
Return R
Ground
and my mobo has the following as labels,

1. MIC2_RL
2.AGND
3.MIC2_RR
4.VCC3
5.LINE2_RR
6.RET_R
7.REVD
8.key (no pin)
9.LINE2_RL
10.RET_L

any one know which one from the top matches which on the bottom?

question 2. What would happen if I started my computer without teh RAM? Cause my case supposedly has some blue lights that I want to see on, and I want to make sure my power supply works.

I posted what my mobo book said.

By the way, I started my PC with no RAM and plugged a monitor into my voodoo 3 PCI card and the monitor said "no signal" is it supposed to say that with no RAM or is the graphics card bad? The computer did get power to the blue LEDS in front and the fans though.

Im not exactly sure where to plug them in, but always White is ground.
MIC_2RL I think is Mic_IN
Return R is RET_R
Return L is RET_L

Yeah, thanks, I dont know what you mean by white is ground, unless mobos usually have a white pin in every connection, but thanks.

 

[Spec]

On the case plugs, theres is a positive and a negative, - or white is alwasy ground.
