i have had my psu for just about a year now and it came with the case, it has been working ok untill just before xmas, then the fan stopped working, but it was working ok, then i just went and go a new gpu cooler and i put in, then turned my pc on and smoke started coming from the psu, just wanna no if it would of done anything 2 the cpu or motherboard, i did see the motherboard light on but nothing would go on

It's possible that the PSU could have damaged other computer components. The only way to find out is get another good, reliable, brand name power supply and install it. :D

You should have replaced it when the fan stopped working, its there for a reason. Its possible that you have damaged the mobo, but you wont know for sure until you get a new PSU. Try and get a good make its one of the most important parts of your PC.
