Ok, my computer has a Intel Celeron 2.53~ GHz processor.

(it's a Windows XP Home SP2, 34 GB Hard Drive, 256 MB RAM, if that helps some {COMPAQ Presario SR1103WM})

Just to let you know I was planning to upgrade that RAM.;)

Anyways, about the processor... I was wondering, could you put an Intel Pentium 4 processor in their? Or even an AMD?

And the graphics card in an Integrated Graphics 82845G and I was wondering what would be the best upgrade (i think my PC is AGP and PCI slots).

Thanks in advance! :D

You won't be able to use an AMD processor. They are a completely different socket. Even with more RAM, your computer is beginning to show it's age. Have you thought about building a cheap computer? If you get a powerful card, your CPU will bottleneck it. Not giving you the speeds the card can fully achieve. You won't find a few, if any AGP cards still being sold.

AGP
PCI

Most of these cards won't be powerful enough to handle any of the latest games.
