I'm looking for something that can relay printed output from a DOS-based system to an XP system, and then out to a network printer.
Basically, here's what I want to happen:
A computer running DOS 6.22 is connected via parallel port to a computer running XP Pro.
The XP Pro computer has a network printer installed and set as default, and is connected over wireless.
When I print on the DOS computer, I would like the XP computer to relay the printed information to the network printer. If possible, I would also like to be able to automatically save a text file with the printed information.
Does anyone know of any programs to do this? I would prefer not to run any kind of program on the DOS computer, but I know I'll have to on the XP computer.
