Power Supply for Motherboard

I don't know much about power supplies but I would like to have a 450 to 500 power supply that isn't too much for my asus a8v-xe motherboard. I don't know which power supply fits it it says is has 24 pin, 4 pin 12v what ever that means. Please help..
