Power supply 550W

Hey guys I'm woundering if I upgrade my 230W power supply to a 550W supply to boost overall performance on my whole machine all together.

Let me know, I have a 754 socket motherboard Will this work on my pc because I was unsure because it says it works on p3 and p3 boards.

yes it will work but it wont do anything for the performance of ur comp, uve got one outdated comp there, if u want more performance then save for a new comp

Thanks alot for your post , I bought my pc of motherboard bundles I think its 2.53ghz and I have 512 mb RAM. I didn't realise it was outdated I thought it was fairly new as stuff from novatech are genrally newish models
