Hello,
my CD Writer is a Plextor :
52/24/52A (EIDE)
Manufacturer: Plextor
Model: PX-W5224TA/T3
Operating System : Windows XP Professional Edition, [Service Pack 2].
I have a problem when i try to Turn Off my PC, it keeps Rebooting!
The troubleshooting reports make mention of a driver problem; in one attempt to solve the problem i experimented with the Plextor driver.
I right-clicked on My Computer and choose Properties - Hardware - Device Manager and clicked the DVD/CD-ROM drives; where the driver : Plextor CD-R PX-W5224A is located.
When i Disable the driver then my PC shuts down properly, but when I start the computer (with Plextor driver disabled) i receive an InCD Error message :
''Cannot connect to file system. InCD service not running.''
When I Enable the driver my PC reboots instead of shutting down and in this case I don't receive the InCD Error message.
Could you please give me some advice on how to resolve this issue?
