If you want to check your ping to a server just go into cmd and type in ping -t <ip address or hostname> For more options just type in ping in cmd and from there you can use a variety of tools to find out what you need

root Site Team Staff member Messages 8,185 Location UK Jul 11, 2005 #3 I wouldn't bother with the -t, because then you'll have to wonder about how to stop it ([ctrl]+[c]) just remember to ping a machine, first type ping, then type the machine name or IP... i.e. ping computerforums.org
