PCI slots ?

I plan on puchasing a Turtle beach sound card.I have one more open PCI slot available.

While looking around inside during a very newbie upgrade to firewire I saw a card in one of my slots that has two telephone jacks on them.Can I pull that card out and use that slot if I need one in the future.

Just wondering ?

That pci card is an internal 56k modem. If you are on broadband (cable / adsl) you do not need it. So you will be safe to pull it out.

ya if you don't use dial-up it's useless.
