Password problems

hi, my cousin has a dell computer, and she forgot the password so she went into settings to try and change it, and when she came out it went to a black screen wich says... enter password and .... press enter to continue secuity or press ctrl and enter to disable security.
Inof:
The computer boots from hard drive not cd.
The computer has no floppy drive but it has a zip drive.
Can anyone help me???

there is a program called erd commander.. if you can find it online (been awhile takes awhile to search) its an iso, download the iso and burn the image to a disk.. boot the disk and it is basically a windows utility that has a locksmith on it.. change the password restart the computer and there ya go. I have a copy that I use for work.. I will ask my supervisors if I can mail if you can't find the iso.. just PM me.

about how big is the file? And how did you burn it to cd, did you just put it on or did you use a special program?
