Overclocking Memory, how?

I have the Dual Channel Corsair XMS kit, 2 x 512MB sticks, DDR 400, 2.5-3-3-6. I have the overclock set on auto so that when I overclock the cpu it automatically overclocks the memory too, it pushes the speed up to 230MHz, but in doing so it pushes the latency way up to 3-5-5-8, or something like that. Is that good or bad?

overall I'd say it's good. u got 60mhz faster memory and the timings ain't too bad (ofcourse bad for good memory like that but not bad compared to some cheaper memories). And the timings ain't that important, ofcourse they have some effect, but not as big as the mhz has.

thats not that great i think u can do better, when u increase the cpu speed the memory will speed up along with it no matter what u do (thats what memory dividers are for) anyway what u can do is raise the voltage for the memory and put the timings down
