Just going out the door today from the office and some mad professor (the company researches new drugs) collared me before i could get into the lift.
He was running some form of Oracle (i only had a quick glance) and when he tried to access a document it would try to open up a PDF within IE6 then stall, if he tried again a 'servlet' error would appear.
I updated java and pdf reader, still no joyjoy. His fellow mad professor's pc access' the same base and file no prob at all.
Then i made my excuses and left as i knew i'd be stuck there for a long time and a beer was calling my name elsewhere.
Any Oracle guru's here? I imagine something simple has corrupted, but any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
Can't update to IE7 apparently, that's a no go for the form of Oracle they run.
